It's Tourney Time!!!!! Good to see Coach Cal win C-USA Coach of the Year after going undefeated considering he did it last year and didn't get the award. CDR was very deserving of C-USA player of the year. If the guy is a first team All American then surely he's C-USA POY. Memphis will roll through this tourney and have the 1 seed in the South. Get your tix for Little Rock (if they aren't already sold out).
March Madness
Syracuse is done. Thank God. I don't know why I don't like them, but I think it has something to do with Boeheim playing zone defense and me hating zones. Is this guy overrated? He has been to 3 Final Fours and has a National Championship, but he has 3 pros on that team (Donte Green, Jonny Flynn, Paul Harris) and can't make the tourney. He also had a NCAA Tourney type team last year and didn't make it. Just something to think about.....
Bill Raftery is all over the Big East Tournament. Will someone at CBS please pair him with Gus Johnson for the Final Four? Just watchin a little bit of the G'Town/Nova game right now and Raftery is all over it. "Wallace is gonna be open here. With the rainbow. A little wet, give em a towel." Classic Raftery.

I watched 9 minutes of East Carolina and Tulsa yesterday at the Forum...then I wanted to hang myself.
SEC Tourney starts today in Atlanta. I said it a few weeks back. Tennessee will not win the tourney and will not have a 1 seed.
NBA
Rockets win 20 straight. I still think they're out in the first round, but this is impressive. I don't care if they haven't played all teams about .500. Every year teams have stretches where they play bad teams and somehow manage to lose 1 or 2 of them.
Andrew Bynum is running on treadmills now. Good news. They won't win a title w/o him. Somebody has to make up for Pau sucking on defense.
Greg Oden worked out with the Blazers for the first time all year. They will be a force next year in the loaded West.
Celtics continue to dominate the Eastern Conference.

Yanks and D'Rays are brawling. It's Spring Training. You know you should chill out about Spring Training when you see Billy Crystal batting leadoff for the Yanks today.
Albert Pujols is holding off on having Tommy John surgery. Tommy John surgery for a batter? Dude was on roids. Yea, I said it. I'm sorry but the tendon in your elbow doesn't pop like that if you're a hitter. Not unless you're doing something you shouldn't be doing.
